Meet Bronze Bob on April 21

On April 21, Robert Morris University unveiled Bronze Bob, a new statue on campus that is sure to become a university tradition.

Bronze Bob is a life-size representation of RMU's namesake -- the Founding Father who became the Financier of the American Revolution -- sitting on a bench with room for you to join him. Share your #BronzeBob snapshots on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.

A gift of the Class of '13 and of Sid and Ellen Zonn, Bronze Bob is modeled on the Robert Morris statue that stands near Independence Hall in Philadelphia. He grasps a rolled document in his hand, a reminder that Morris was one of only two men to sign each of America's founding documents -- the Declaration of Independence: the Articles of Confederation, and the Constitution.
