A wellness-oriented lifestyle encourages you to adopt habits and behaviors that promote better health and an improved quality of life. It also involves the recognition that you have physical, psychological, social, and spiritual needs, with each dimension being necessary for optimal levels of functioning. RMU strives to promote healthy living habits, create educational opportunities, and fitness programming for Robert Morris University students, staff and faculty.
The Jefferson Health & Fitness Center is located on the second floor of the Jefferson Center. Membership is free to students. The area includes free weights, Cybex circuit machines, cardio equipment, a spinning room, and a group fitness studio, as well as a men's and women's locker room with shower and bathroom facilities.
Student Health and Wellness serves as the University’s “primary care” office, paying special attention to the unique needs of young adults. We would like to be partners in your health care and help you identify areas of self-improvement that could lead to higher levels of physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.
