Military Members Benefit from an RMU Undergraduate Degree

If you’re a current military member or a veteran, and you’d like to further your education by earning an undergraduate degree, you’ll soon realize that you have many options.  Most colleges and universities have an array of classes and coursework, both on campus and online.

But how do you find the undergraduate program that’s right for you, can work around your schedule, and considers your military experience to be an advantage?

RMU’s Undergraduate Programs Are Military Friendly

At RMU, you’ll get military benefits, a world-class, private university education, and financial assistance that you won’t find anywhere else. RMU offers challenging undergraduate coursework with a real-world, career-driven focus that’s available to both part-time and full-time students. We’re also recognized as one of the top schools in the country for both active military personnel and veterans because of our focus on your financial and educational needs.

Robert Morris University offers:

  • A military-friendly atmosphere. We recognize that, if you are active military, serving your country while earning your degree can be a challenge. We’re here to help. We have a Vets Center that’s open 24/7 to all veteran and military students. The Director of Veterans Education and Training Services, a retired Brigadier General, is also available to you.

  • Financial assistance for a quality, private school education. We participate in the Yellow Ribbon Program for veterans who have been awarded 100% benefits for their Post 9/11 G.I. Bill. If you have less than 100% post-9/11 benefits (this bill provides tuition for veterans that equals what they would pay at a public, state-run university), we offer a Military Service Award that will make up the difference.
  • Expert faculty members, in dozens of disciplines, with real-world experience. From computer technology, to organizational leadership, to engineering, you can maintain and continue what you’ve learned during your time in the armed forces.
  • Knowledgeable, helpful, and caring staff.  They can answer your questions and are experienced with military education benefits.
  • Both on-campus and online undergraduate courses and degrees. Depending on your location, your current military situation, and your job’s requirements, you can choose to learn on one of RMU’s campuses, or online when it’s convenient for you. We offer more than 60 undergraduate areas of study, with several off-campus locations, including one at the 171st Air Refueling Wing in Moon Township.

At RMU, we believe that military members and veterans are entitled to a quality, private education. Contact us today to see what we have to offer.
