  • Special Education
    RMU's Special Education (MEd) program gives certified teachers the skills to meet the needs of students with disabilities in multiple settings. This two-year program's practicum is designed to engage students in 90 hours of field-based, directed study experiences under the supervision of a mentor.
  • Reading Specialist Certification Program
    RMU's Reading Specialist Certification program provides a comprehensive background in literacy as approved by the PA Department of Education. Our faculty will mentor you as you gain expertise and work with ELL and/or special needs students under the direct supervision of an RMU instructor.
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders Endorsement Program
    RMU's Autism Spectrum Disorders Endorsement program provides certified teachers with an endorsement in Autism granted by the PA Dept. of Education. Participants engage in innovative programs, and learn valuable skills meeting needs of students with autism spectrum disorders.
  • Teaching Online
    Certificate Program
    Online education has become a major focus for K-12 schools, higher education, and corporate training. RMU's Teaching Online Certificate is targeted for teachers in online, distant, or cyber education settings, emphasizing how to develop, teach, and assess students in the online environment.

  • Instructional Leadership
    If you are interested in becoming a teacher leader, department chair, or curriculum coordinator, then the Instructional Leadership master's degree is for you. RMU also offers Post-Baccalaureate Programs which can be combined with this degree.

     
  • Business Education
    RMU's Business Education degree program is designed for those engaged in teaching business concepts and studies in public, private and corporate educational institutions as well assists individuals desiring initial or additional secondary teaching certification in business, computer, and information technology.
