Established by President Gregory Dell’Omo, Ph.D., and the Board of Trustees, the Women’s Leadership Advisory Council advocates policies and programs to attract, retain, and engage women and advance their position in the university and the broader community.

Recommends initiatives to increase the number of traditional undergraduate women students

Recruitment/Enrollment — Nontraditional Students
Recommends initiatives to increase the number of adult or online women students

Fosters mentoring relationships for RMU women students, faculty, staff, and alumnae

Makes recommendations regarding curriculum development for women’s studies 

Fosters research into women’s roles in business, health care, communications, and education

Engagement & Philanthropy
Recommends initiatives to enhance the involvement of alumnae with their university and to increase giving to RMU
