It’s a fact: About 93 percent of undergraduate students receive financial aid from Robert Morris University. Most students, regardless of the education and degree that they are seeking, draw on our financial aid options to finance their investment in their future and career.
When you’re considering financial aid packages, we suggest you follow these steps.
1. Become familiar with the type of aid offered. RMU offers many opportunities for students, and in some cases, parents.
2. Talk to a RMU Financial Aid Counselor
RMU staffs a number of experienced financial aid counselors for all students. They’ll explain the steps that you’ll need to take and the options that are available. These counselors will be your contacts throughout your years at RMU and they’ll also assist you after you graduate, answering questions about managing your Federal loan repayments.
3. Use RMU’s online financial aid resources. RMU’s financial aid page has dozens of resources for students navigating their aid choices. There’s also a resource guide that helps parents understand the financial requirements for their child’s education. It includes a net price calculator that can help parents estimate the amount of financial aid that may be awarded to their child.
RMU is proud to have one of the lowest private tuition rates in all of Pennsylvania. At the same time, we also understand that higher education is an investment that is not inexpensive. We consider our financial aid program to be among the best in the Pennsylvania with numerous scholarships and grants available for our students, and other options like loans and work-study programs that can be used to finance your education. If you have any questions about the financial aid application process, stop by the Financial Aid office. No appointment is necessary and we’re happy to help you.
