RMU has been named to another top ranked list, and this time, it is being recognized as one of the best schools in the country (number 26 is the North U.S. region) for veterans who would like to gain a college education.
U.S. News & World Report’s first Best Colleges for Veterans ranking list was recently released, and the magazine publicly recognized RMU’s efforts for Pittsburgh-area veterans.
To be eligible for this list, it was required that a college is certified for the GI Bill, be a participant in the Yellow Ribbon Program, and be a member of the Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) Consortium. Many of the schools ranked on this list provide federal benefits, including application and tuition assistance, to veterans and those who are currently serving.
