Colonial Athletic Club (CAC)

Colonial Athletic Club Continues to Assist RMU Student-Athletes:

The Colonial Athletic Club exists to help Robert Morris University student-athletes, but it is a two-way street. Colonial men's soccer alums, who reunite each August for a friendly versus the varsity, helped buy NCAA Tournament banners (pictured at right) for the North Athletic Complex where RMU home games are played. During the summer of 2002, the CAC helped subsidize the expenses for trainers to accompany the men's and women's soccer teams to Portugal and France, respectively. Also recently, the CAC helped underwrite the costs of new track and field pole vault safety mats, two video cameras for use by all RMU sports and golf team jackets and bags, to name a few. Also, with the establishment of the Colonial Athletic Club Scholarship, the CAC executive board has thus far awarded the CAC Scholarship to two current Colonial student-athletes.

Robert Morris athletics teams have enjoyed a great deal of success. But it isn't easy for a school of RMU's size to remain competitive at the NCAA Division I level. It takes a commitment by everyone - athletes, parents, alumni, friends, and, of course, the University itself. The Colonial Athletic Club provides support for RMU's 22 sports and 400+ athletes. The growth of our program is possible because of the many donors who are helping our athletes to compete both on the field and in the classroom.

We invite you to Join the CAC.
