MGMT3800 - Spec Topics: Conflicting Mgmt

Fall 2009

This advanced course in labor relations covers the issues of grievance resolution, arbitration and contract negotiation. Students will participate in mock grievance hearings, an arbitration proceeding and a contract negotiation simulation. Students will develop advanced written and oral communication skills required for resolving conflict while learning the legal concepts involved in labor management conflict resolution. 3 credits
