GRMN3020 - German Language and Culture

Fall 2011

This course combines video, audio, and print to teach German in the context of German-speaking cultures. The courses are based on an innovative method that allows students to develop basic oral and written proficiency in German as they are exposed to German culture. Emphasizing grammatical principles, vocabulary, and oral expression at a level appropriate to students' prior study of or experience with German, these courses cover elementary, intermediate, and advanced levels and enable students to begin or to enhance their proficiency in German. Each of these courses uses extensive telecourse materials and may be available on an independent basis.
