NURS4060 - Advanced Practice
Fall 2011
This course enables the registered nurse student to further develop leadership abilities, critical thinking and decision-making skills. Each student is assigned to an individually designed clinical learning experience, according to the student's career goals, and a registered nurse preceptor in that clinical learning environment. The student develops learning goals and specifies learning activities for the clinical practice directly related to the setting. Emphasis is placed on synthesis and application of theory learned throughout the program.
