SACE2100 - Multicultural Perspectives

Fall 2011

This course is a study of diversity and culture as it relates to individuals, groups, networks, organizations. This includes: the study of cultural differences, group processes as they relate to cultural diversity, social stratification, racial and ethnic inequalities, and sex, gender, and age differences with respect to culture and organizations. Emphasis is on understanding and managing diversity and the goal of making workers more productive and compatible team members in the workplace.
Prerequisite: SOCI1010
