SPMG2211 - Risk Mgmt/Safety Sys In Sr

This course (Risk Management and Safety Systems in Sports and Recreation) introduces the student to the concepts of injury prevention and risk reduction to the participant, the spectator and the sport manager. Topics include the analysis of injury and risk, socio-economic considerations of injury, the role of interventions such as protective equipment and facility/product modifications, and legal and risk management aspects of the industry.
Prerequisite: 30 credits
