ENVS1180 - Industry-Environment Ecology
Fall 2012 This course focuses on micro-level issues on environmental science for business managers and others interested in dealing with industry-environmental science for business managers and others interested in dealing with industry-environmental interactions. Topics include, but are not limited to: risk assessment, environmental economics, life cycle assessment, nature's budgets and cycles, industrial designs that are energy efficient, but minimize environmental impacts, dealing with industrial process residues, material selection, and environmental interactions during product use and recycling. Principles of scientific inquiry are integrated throughout the course. 3 Credits |
