ECED2130 - Numeracy
Fall 2012 This course is designed to provide both the theoretical background and the practical knowledge necessary for planning, implementing, and assessing an early childhood mathematics program. The focus is on developing an active, learning environment that fosters curiosity, confidence, and persistence in learning numeracy skills. Students examine and practice instructional strategies that foster the development of mathematical relationships, number sense, and the ability to solve problems.
