MBAD6013 - Managerial Accounting Spring 2013 This course introduces accounting data in terms related to helping managers perform planning and control functions. Responsibility accounting and contribution margin approaches are included. Cost behavior is the focus for decision making. Attention is also given to analyzing relevant costs for problem solving. Several contemporary and innovative techniques will be discussed including activity based costing, just-in-time management, the cost of quality, benchmarking, and target costing. Prerequisite: MBAP5012 or equivalent 3 Credits
