MSNM6110 - Acct For Nonprofit Organiz

This course should help the student gain a foundation in the concepts and terminology of accounting and financial management in the non-profit sector. These concepts include: financial accountability and the financial statements, budgeting and reporting as it encompasses planning, cost control, and performance evaluation, from both a short-term and long-term perspective. Financial statement analysis will also be studied. The course is designed from a user perspective and does not assume any previous accounting knowledge. 3 credits
