MSNM6120 - Fin Risk Mgt-Nonprofit Organiz

Fall 2013

This course introduces basic principles of financial management as applied to nonprofit organizations. Financial principles are applied to broad organizational goals that nonprofit entities must consider. Students develop an understanding of the importance of generating cash flows to sustain organizational resources, planning resources for current operations, reviewing performance and financial positions for institutional effectiveness, and long-term financial resource planning and outcomes assessment. Financial management will build upon the basic accounting concepts presented in MSNM 6110
