MBAD6700 - Mergers and Acquisitions
Summer 2014
This course is a study of all types of corporate restructurings including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, leveraged buyouts, bankruptcies, workouts and recapitalizations. Students will learn to analyze relevant economic, legal, and corporate finance considerations associated with restructurings. Particular attention will be paid to the valuation of a business enterprise. Specific techniques used to value public and private business will be studied in depth.
