ENGR6022 - Energy Storage, Conver/Transp

Fall 2014

This course introduces the basic mechanisms for the transfer and storage of energy. Furthermore, this course will discuss current research developments in energy storage. Class presentations will be integrated with hands-on demonstration activities. Students will learn the basic chemistry and physics behind thermal, chemical, mechanical and electrical forms of energy storage. The science behind hydrogen economics, fuel cell technologies, biofuels, and conventional and future battery technologies will be elucidated.
