ARTM1850 - History Of Documentary Film
Fall 2014 This course provides an introduction to the genre of documentary film and a review of their historical development from its roots in the nineteenth century to present times. Student will view classic documentary films and come to understand the styles and techniques of the documentary tradition. The course will also analyze the contribution of documentary as a persuasive means of communication to achieve social and political goals. 3 Credits 3 Credits |
