SPED6075 - Advanced Studies In Autism

Fall 2016

Students in this course will discuss the variety of programming options available to children and families, investigate social skills programs, explore communication approaches, and research evidence-based interventions for students with ASD. Students will complete an intervention assessment tool and create specially designed instruction for a student on the spectrum. Finally, students in this course will synthesize this information and reflect on issues as they apply to families and individuals on the spectrum throughout their life.
