COMM2100 - Foundation In Strategic Commun

Foundations of Strategic Communication is an introduction to the theories, concepts, and applications of strategic communication to meet a variety of organizational goals. This course will help students develop an understanding of how organizations create targeted, research-based,and/or creative communication to accomplish their goals, both internally as well as externally. Students will receive an overview of practices in communication management, leadership, decision-making, group and team communication, and conflict management within and between
both for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. The course is taught through lecture, discussion, class activities and projects that are designed to help students develop critical thinking skills as they relate to topics pertinent to strategic communication.
