Independent Study/Individual Research   295-297 INDEPENDENT STUDY enables the student to undertake individual study in an area of special interest or competency and to submit evidence of superior accomplishment. The number of credits earned, one to three, depends on the nature and depth of research and quality of the required projects. Written permission of the school dean is needed to enroll in the course. A two-letter course prefix is ascribed according to the field in which the course is taken.
