SCIE1020 - Fundamental Science Concepts
Fall 2013 Fundamental Science Concepts provides an overview of scientific content based on the Pennsylvania Department of Education Academic Standards for Science and Technology and the guidelines published by the National Science Teachers' Association. The course provides background information that is vital to understanding and explaining a variety of scientific ideas. Specifically, this course will address the content that students need to know, and the skills that they will need to master, in the areas of biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences, to effectively explain natural phenomena and events using the scientific method. 3 Credits |
