NURS9415 - Psyc Cons Geriatric Popul Prac

This practicum course provides the student with the opportunity to examine the complex inter-relationship between aging processes, existing chronic physical and mental illnesses, and the emergence of new mental illnesses later in life. The focus is on utilization of evidence-based practice findings to plan, implement, and evaluate therapeutic regimens of geriatric patients with physical and mental co-morbidities.
