NURS9210 - Psychiatric Diagnosis

This clinical practicum is designed to complement the content in the Psychiatric Diagnosis course and expand on the application of diagnostic reasoning skills developed in the Advanced Physical Assessment/Diagnosis course. The focus of the practicum experience is the techniques and processes of performing a physical, psychological, developmental, and nutritional assessment, obtaining a health history, and recording findings. Recognition and interpretation of clinical assessment data will be used to develop both medical and psychiatric differential diagnoses.
Prerequisite: NURS8130
