MBAD6161 - International Logistics

Spring 2018 Doctoral

Transnational freignt movement is the focus of this course. In the international environment, different rules and considerations apply and often differ dramatically from domestic practices. This course will familiarize the student with technical details of international trade terms, required documentation, import/export duties and taxes, and international trade agreements. Knowledge of these areas will then be used to analyze prospective and existing international logistics/supply chains.
Prerequisites: MBAD6510 or 6420 or by discretion of the MBA director
