Fall 2011 The focus of this course is to provide the student with a broad introduction to community health and the role of the nursing within this setting. Students will examine nursing knowledge, incorporating concepts of epidemiology, populations, levels of prevention, health promotion and health care systems. The health care needs of selected at-risk populations will be reviewed. Prerequisites: COSK2220, NURS3050 and NURS3055 5 Credits |
