ARBC1010 - Elem Mod Standrd/Colloq Arabic
Fall 2013 This course is a course designed for students who have no previous background in Arabic. Upon completion of the course, students will earn 3 credit hours, learn the Arabic alphabet, and gain sufficient functional proficiency in spoke Arabic to be able to live in an Arabic speaking country, to explore the landmarks and interact with its people without need for a translator. In addition, the course will provide the basis for reading street signs, newspapers, and other common forms of written communication. 3 Credits |

The course focuses on the fundamentals of Chinese pronunciation, the Pinyin system of writing, and the basics of writing Chinese characters.
