The Master of Science in Human Resource Management online degree program addresses the need for competent human resource managers with an advanced understanding of employee retention, development, succession planning, compensation, benefits administration, health care, retirement planning, pensions, finance and decision sciences.

The program, which is offered exclusively online, combines the academic rigors of a master's degree with the practical skills needed to succeed in human resource management. You'll gain a strong theoretical foundation in the field while learning to apply practical application of theoretical concepts to the workplace. 

While some human resource master's degree programs focus on functional areas such as labor or industrial relations, RMU's program provides a more strategic focus, preparing graduates for careers as successful HR managers and executives and key members of an organization's leadership team.

Alumni from the RMU School of Business work for some of the nation's most prestigious corporations including PNC Bank, BNY Mellon, Bayer, UPMC, Highmark, U.S. Steel, PPG, Alcoa, Heinz, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Ernst & Young, just to name a few.
The 30-credit, part-time program consists of 10 required courses offered in eight-week evening sessions. Courses are delivered in a hybrid format, including in-class, partially and fully online courses. It is possible to complete the program in two years taking one course per 8 week session.

In an effort to help students meet their education expenses, Robert Morris University offers the following tuition payment options. On the posted due date, payments are accepted until 5 p.m. in the Student Support Center. Payments may be made via ePay after the deadline.

Robert Morris University accepts tuition payments by cash, check, money order or credit card (Visa, MasterCard or Discover). Tuition payments may be made to the Office of Student Financial Services by mail, phone (412-397-6260), or online via the RMU website at www.rmu.edu. Students should log in to Sentry Secured Services and go to Financial Status in eServices to use the ePay - PayNow option. ePay is available 24 hours a day to process credit card or check payments.
