Julieth Rueda Benavides
Home town: Bogota, Colombia
Favorite thing about Pittsburgh: The view of the city from Mt. Washington, with the bridges, rivers, and skyscrapers
Julieth came to Robert Morris University from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana hoping to learn more about American culture and study communication. She says she is impressed with the competitive quality of education in Pittsburgh, and the appreciation of the arts and humanities.
Julieth likes to watch movies, especially the kinds that make her laugh or cry, or sometimes both.
“I believe that good things happen to good people,” she says. “That’s the way I live my life, with the conviction that all that I’m working for will pay off in the future.”
