Robert Morris Ranked #12 in List of Top 25 Best Online Colleges for 2014

Robert Morris University was recently ranked #12 in Create a Career's list of The 25 Best Colleges for 2014. The ranking lists the top online schools in the country based on factors such as "overall quality, reputation, cost, program availability, faculty credentials, student-to-teacher ratios, available financial aid, student and faculty support and technical support."

RMU's online program, which includes offerings in areas such as business, information systems, nursing, communications, mathematics, engineering, education, science, and social science, helped it rank higher than schools like Auburn University and the University of Nebraska. Others in the list include Penn State University, University of Florida, Northwestern University, and Boston University, to name a few.

This isn't the first such honor for RMU's online program. SuperScholar, an online education and career information website, ranked Robert Morris University one of the 25 Best Online Colleges and Universities 2014. It also ranked RMU #6 on its list of the Top 10 Smart Choice Schools for Online Master's Degrees 2013.

TheBestSchools.org also ranked Robert Morris University Online #17 in its list of The 30 Best Online Colleges for 2014.

"We are pleased and excited to be named as one of the best online colleges for 2014," says Darcy B. Tannehill, Ed.D., RMU's vice president for online and off-campus programs. "RMU believes in providing our students with outstanding service and quality in all of our online courses. Our programs engage our students in the learning process and teach them the professional skills they need in today's competitive work environment."
