Favorite RMU Memory: As a Steelerette, a cheerleader for the Steelers, from 1964 to 1966, Barbara was once asked to be a background dancer for Andy Williams during his concert at the Civic Arena as he sang “Music to Watch the Girls Go By.”
Last RMU event attended: Last month’s RMU Night at PNC Park, the annual Pirates tailgate hosted by the Alumni Association.Why she stays connected: “In 2001 the local Steelerettes, who were all RMU alumni, began attending RMU’s Homecoming events. Robert Morris began hosting a breakfast for us each year, and they have always been so warm and welcoming, acknowledging us when we are present at Homecoming.”
