The mission of the Society for the Advancement of Management (SAM) is to provide an opportunity for student members from all majors to increase their management skills and decision-making abilities. Student officers operate the chapter and assume responsibility for conducting programs in management, sponsoring guest speakers from the business community, and other social, educational, and fund-raising programs. Student teams participate annually in the International Management Case Competition.
