Sororities hold membership recruitment events each semester to introduce prospective members to their organizations. Students interested in learning more about sorority life are encouraged to attend these events to become better acquainted with the organizations, their activities and members.

Fall Formal Recruitment
Formal recruitment is held in mid-September. Events are scheduled for three consecutive evenings. Invitations of membership are extended on "Bid Day," which marks the final day of the formal recruitment period.  Information on Fall 2012 sorority recruitment is below.

Spring Informal Recruitment
Sororities may host small informal recruiting events in the spring semester.  These events are also excellent ways to join a sorority. However, not all chapters may be able to accept new members in the spring semester.

Sorority Eligibility Requirements

• Must be a registered full-time (12 credit hours) student at Robert Morris University
• Must have a 2.0 cumulative college GPA prior to joining (first semester freshmen are exempt)
• Individual chapters reserve the right to have higher standards for selection of members
