ACQUISITIONS, CATALOGING, and LIBRARY SYSTEMS form the key areas of Library Technical Services. 

ACQUISITIONS
The Head of Acquisitions coordinates the selection, ordering, receiving and processing of library materials.

RMU teaching faculty and librarians actively engage in the materials selection process. RMU faculty, staff, and students are invited to submit purchase requests to the Acquisitions Department.

CATALOGING
The Cataloging Department supports access to RMU Library Collections by cataloging books, media, microforms, etc.

Upon request, the Cataloging Department can generally accomodate rush cataloging requests for newly acquired library materials.

SYSTEMS
The Systems Librarian supports the network needs of the library server, which maintains ROBCAT -- the library catalog and support for library PCs.
