Farhana first heard about Robert Morris University while she was in Bangladesh
doing some research on nursing. Her sister, who was in med school at Penn State, recommended RMU for its widely recognized nursing program. Farhana had never been to the U.S. before, so a smaller university was appealing to her. However, just because RMU isn’t as big as other universities doesn’t mean its programs aren’t as challenging. That’s why she appreciated the individual attention students get from the faculty and staff at RMU.
Dr. Ross prepared me for it. His individual attention, for not just me but other students, is amazing.
Because of it, Farhana was able to excel. She also liked the Student Engagement Transcript (SET), which allowed her to show hospitals her extracurricular activities and engagement as a nursing student. “At RMU, you have the ability to do more things than other students, to get involved and interacting more. The activities that I’ve done in my freshman year are some of the most valuable experiences I’ve had.”
