Day 1 - Dinner at Barbetta: Robert Morris University Day 1 - Dinner at Barbetta | Robert Morris University

Alumni

We will depart Pittsburgh for New York City. Upon arrival, you will be taken directly to the Marriott Marquis, located mid-town and at the doorstep of theatres, fine dining, shopping, and sightseeing.

That evening we will gather for an "Opening Night in New York" dinner, at Barbetta, just a short walk from your hotel. Barbetta was founded in 1906 by Sebastiano Maioglio and is now owned by his daughter, Laura Maioglio. It is the oldest restaurant in New York that is still owned by the family that founded it. It is also the oldest Italian restaurant in New York, and the oldest restaurant in New York's Theatre District. This three-fold distinction makes Barbetta a landmark among New York restaurants.
