INFS3482 - Applied Machine Learning
Summer 2018
This course provides an introduction to machine learning covering the concepts and techniques involved in machine learning. Students will apply machine learning algorithms to datasets to uncover patterns using R. Students will discuss recent applications of machine learning to data mining and data processing. Topics covered will include cluster analysis and association rules, generalized linear models, bagging, Bayesian networks, neural networks, and k-nearest neighbor.
Prerequisite -- INFS2130, INFS2120, INFS3140, INFS3150, INFS3180, INFS2010, (CI328 or CI324 or CI330 or CI326 or CI336 or CI310).
