MBAD6310 - Entrepreneurship/Innovation

We are in the midst of a global entrepreneurial revolution. The rate of new business start-ups, patents, new product and service introductions, technology licenses, and other indicators of entrepreneurial activities are at an all-time high globally. We are also witnessing the increase of entrepreneurial thinking within established organizations such as corporations, governments, and social institutions. Entrepreneurship plays a vital role in finding solutions to challenges facing society including health, communications, security, infrastructure, education, energy, and the environment. This course will enable the student to understand opportunity recognition, feasibility analysis, and the developing of an effective business model.
Prerequisite: MBAD6010 or by discretion of the MBA Director
