CRMJ3030 - White-Collar Crime
Summer 2018
This course is an in-depth analysis of white-collar crime, crimes that can only be committed by individuals or organizations because of their social position. Multiple types of these crimes will be examined for their similarities and differences with other types of criminal behavior. Evolving definitions, trends and public attitudes about white-collar crime will be examined over the past century. The course will also discuss policy implications of fighting these actions in the criminal versus civil courts.
