• Sam Anthony, Logan Carney, Maura Linehan and Avin Patel of RMU's Sentry Media have been named student finalists in the Pittsburgh Black Media Federation's 31st annual Robert L. Vann Media Awards. The Vann Awards honor achievements in print, broadcast, photography and online journalism coverage of the African-American and African Diaspora communities of western Pennsylvania. 
• Four School of Business students, Tessa Bramble, Zach Kutchma, Cameron Pistilli, and Anthony Puglisi placed second in the AMA Regional Case Competition sponsored by New York Life.
• RMU in the News has been updated for March.

Personal Mention

• Chet Thompson has been chosen as a 2019 recipient for the Women's Achievement Club Honors. He is being honored as one of the Men of Distinction and Empowerment. He'll be honored at the Women's Achievement Club Scholarship event on June 9.

• Media Arts Visiting Artist and Scholar Program invites you to a public lecture with CommomWealth Press founder Dan Rugh, Monday, April 15, 12:15pm in the SCIS Atrium, Wheatley Center.

• Launching this summer is the new MS in Cyber Investigation and Intelligence graduate degree program. The Office of Graduate Admissions is hosting a  lunch and learn for those considering an Integrated program or graduate degree. Stop by the Heritage Room in Nicholson Center between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m, on April 17. Grab a lunch and meet with the program coordinator, Frank Hartle, assistant professor of criminal justice. Space is limited. RSVP to dunckel@rmu.edu or visit the Office of Admissions.
• The Media Arts Department invites you to attend the Spring Senior Showcase 2019, presenting outstanding work from graduating seniors. Join us in the Media Arts Gallery on the first floor of Wheatley Center as we celebrate their accomplishments, and view the best work from digital cinema and television, graphic design, interaction design and photography.
