The certificate program in manufacturing engineering builds skills and knowledge required to meet the current and future needs of the manufacturing industry. Multiple projects with hands-on experience are central to the specialized curriculum in manufacturing technology, with an emphasis on engineering theory and practical applications through processes, materials, and products. Completion of the certificate program prepares students for employment as a technician or engineer in the manufacturing industry.

Courses are available either at the Moon Township campus or at the Energy Innovation Center in the Lower Hill. The standalone program can be completed in one year and does not require a college degree. All 18 credits can be transferred to an RMU undergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering.
