The M.S. in Instructional Leadership degree program is designed for schoolteachers, those in corporate training and development, or scholastic athletics and recreation management professionals. It builds on students’ mastery to extend their abilities in a wide variety of areas, enabling them to maximize the learning potential of their own students, and enhance their professional marketability.
The curriculum focuses on developing effective leadership skills, allocating resources to instruction, managing curricula, understanding current trends in education, integrating technology into teaching and learning, and evaluating educational programs. The program includes a practicum for conducting a field-based project.
