RMU Students Join Disciplines To Teach On JA Day

RMU Students Teaching On JA Day

RMU Student Teaching On JA Day

What sets RMU apart is the incorporation of Business students to co-teach with Education students.

In collaboration with Junior Achievement USA (JA), 43 RMU students participated in the JA Day at Crafton Elementary School.

For the second consecutive year, Business students worked together with Education students to deliver JA’s lessons on economics and business concepts.

Across the country, it is common for Junior Achievement to be joined by students working on Education majors, but what sets RMU apart is the incorporation of Business students to co-teach with Education students. This is an intentional part of the RMU School of Business mission which states that our students are given the opportunity for interdisciplinary experiences.

Thank you to Junior Achievement and Crafton Elementary School for partnering with the RMU students. And thank you to Dr. Nathan Taylor from SESS and Dr. Prasad Vemala from SBUS who facilitated the JA day.
