The B.A. in History is a comprehensive program featuring a challenging and flexible curriculum that allows students to shape their education around their particular areas of interest. The program emphasizes critical thinking and interpretive analysis, while optional history study tours enable students to gain a first-person perspective where key events occurred, viewing and interpreting historical artifacts, and interacting with history professionals.
Graduates go on to careers in education, research, communication, law, and nonprofit organizations. Jobs include teacher, museum director, journalist, corporate historian, and lawyer.
