American Society for Materials (ASM) International is an internationally reputed, the largest society of professional materials engineers, researchers and academics. The society has an active student chapter on RMU campus for the past 12 years led by RMU engineering faculty Dr. Priyadarshan Manohar. ASM Foundation has a NSF funded program to organize teachers camps across the country to strengthen Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) curricula at secondary (highschool) level.
The RMU SEMS "Virtual Reality Summer Camp" registration is now open! Designed for students interested in learning about Virtual Reality through hands on demonstrations & interactive learning, the two-day VR summer camp will be offered in two sections (July 15-16 grades 5-9 & August 5-6 Grades 9-11).
Dean Kalevitch, along with other representatives from RMU, joined the greater Pittsburgh community for the "Our Next 75" event. Our Next 75 is a regionwide initiative on the 75th anniversary of the Pittsburgh Renaissance to rededicate today’s and tomorrow’s leaders.
