For students who intend to pursue a career as a high school or middle school teacher, RMU offers five subjects for specialization. Each program meets Pennsylvania Department of Education standards for certification in grades 7-12.
The initial teacher preparation and advanced educator programs in the School of Education and Social Sciences have been accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
