NURS8210 - Health Law and Ethics

This course introduces ethical and legal issues that impact the delivery of health care. The course begins with discussion of the roles of law and ethics and how the two concepts relate. Central issues will deal with ethical and legal "rights," patient safety, negligence and malpractice, antitrust and reimbursement and contracts. Special topics will relate to organizations and to finance.
